Has anyone had a truly terrible teacher?

My English Professor is passive and I don't belive has any clue how to teach. She wrote her own curricula outside the standard English Comp class. That would find if she could explain anything. We have a paper due this Thursday on the essay "Arts of the Contact Zone" by Mary Louise Pratt and I don't this a single person has a clue as to where to begin.

Any ideas how to deal with a teach and still pass, preferably with an A.

yes.

my computer science professor. it is why i got a big fat F. she'd teach the entire class, then like 45 minutes into it, look at the board and say - and i quote, "no, forget all of this, it's all wrong" and erase the board.

then my macroeconomics "professor" didn't speak english. he just smiled as if that would help me understand his broken chinese. i got a D-.

if it makes you feel better you can get shitty grades in one class and still maintain a high-enough gpa to make the dean's list (so you can keep a scholarship). and i graduated with honors, too. i had some other shitty professors but those were the worst.

I bet the class wouldn't be hard if she could teach correctly.

I don't even mind a difficult class. I love my Anatomy and Physiology class and he basically states hardly anyone gets an A, or B at that.

my school was known for this saying:

a "c" for you, a "b" for me, and an "a" for god and shakespeare

so i know how you feel.

I guess I had it easy in high school. I pulled all A's even in AP and Honors classes. But I swear to God I have never studied so damned hard in my life for a class. Aside for A&P
