maybe they want to fill up because either gas is at a good price and it is going to go up the next day or maybe the next morning they need to be somewhere in a hurry and htey wont have time to stop for gas

how would they know the price was going up unless they worked in a station/knew someone there?

if you need ot be somewhere on time and know you need gas, why not just leave 5/10 minutes earlier?

I go so I don't have to get gas in the morning when there's more traffic and requires me to wake up earlier.

if you ever watch the news they always warn you when prices are supposed to go back up

and why wake up earlier and leave earlier if you can conveniently get gas the day before? especially if you have a hard time getting up in the morning, why take the risk of not getting up in time? i mean if you live 15 miles from a gas station it wouldnt make sense but if there's one down the street then why not

Sometimes if I've skipped dinner and just want to grab a hoagie, I'll fill up at Wawa while I'm waiting for my sandwich to be made. Might as well, right?

gas prices ALWAYS go up here on the weekend. always. you can count on it.

i also do it so i can sleep in, or so i can just go wherever i need to go - i haaate stopping to do things when i have a long drive ahead of me. plus i like going when no one else is there so i don't have to wait in line for anything, or run into anyone.

I usually make special trips for gas. I hate getting gas on the way to work or on the way home because I just want to get where I'm going.
