I just moved into an apartment in S. Philly and I had my internet and cable installed and when I went to connect to the internet it wouldnt work.

Anyway, they ended up giving me someone else modem with the same mac number. Has this happened to anyone else?

I've had nothing but good service from Comcast. I just ordered HBO and all those goodies with them. Give 'em a call.

Comcast is bullshit. So is their internet. I'd rather settle with DSL than the shit Comcast provides you.

comcast doesnt even know how to count and often has problems with decimal numbers

I think it depends on your area. Comcast has given me pretty good service since I've had it. (4 years)
I like it cause I have every premium channel they have, plus the on demand of them, DVR, and the internet and I pay like $130 a month. I change my plan like every few months too when something better comes out.

also....their actual product, i.e. internet and cable is good, but there service techs are the biggest bunch of dummies EVER! i think 1 out of 10 knows what they are doing.

and if you can get FIOS do it....it's cheaper and you get more....it's a no brainer.

they send sub-contracted homeboys out for all their installations. Dude who installed my cable had to stop and pull his pants up 67 times while running cable through my wall

thats because they hire just about anything. They probably hire niggers off the street and train them on their call in app that pretty much does all the work for them.

Also, Business DSL >Insight, Comcast. Insight are a fucking joke too, they can't even keep their connection alive most of the time here in Indiana. Right now, I'm waiting for Verizon FIOS.

i had a guy come out once, mind you to install cable in my new house, and he did'nt have a fucking drill....i said "how the hell do you go install cable in people's houses without a drill????"

also i've had a couple not know what an HDMI connection is.....idiots.

You guys must be getting contractors. Contractors aren't really stupid, I think their bosses aren't giving them the training they need. Anyway, you can solve any issues your having with your service if you request and "in-house tech". But you didn't hear that from me.

you should'nt have to ask for an "in-house tech".....and 75% of the time the people that answer the phone are dumber then the techs....if that's possible.....
