anyone into indie movies should look out for this. its on dvd, and rented it on a whim because robert downey jr. is in it and he hardly does bad movies. true story written by dito montiel, who used to play in a punk band that downey used to see. its about dito's childhood and then coming home after he wrote a book that became published. very very very good and surprising. great acting as well.

very good. my only beef with the movie was the weird dialogue out of nowhere kinda like "me and johnny are were walking down the street, i want to lick your pussy." they just throw it in at strange times.

i can see that. the dialogue was sometimes coming from 10 different directions at once and you couldnt tell what was going on. but nonetheless, quite good.

I was told that the book is damn near impossible to get through because there is no actual written structure to it and thats its ramblings, incomplete thoughts, etc.. True?

I may check this out, Shia is actually a pretty good actor. I thought he was good in "the greatest game ever played"

He was very good in this. I'd never heard of him before this. Suprisingly good.
