apartment/house hunting....

fun or stressful? who's looking right now?

finding something you like when you can actually move...the timing is the hardest part i think.

haaaaaaate moving. might be doing it again soon. every bit of it is stressful.

and yeah, timing is the biggest thing. i never seem to find what i'm looking for when i'm in a crunch - of course.

also difficult: finding a place in an area you don't even know.

wren and i are only in the talks of what to look for right now.
we are thinking about buying a condo since it will only be the two of us. we have a few more months until we start looking though, i'm sure i will make it stressful.

moving = taking a day off or a weekend to work harder than you do at your job

i'm stoked to find my next apartment. I just need a new job to coincide with it

it's stressful for me right now because we both need to give 3 months notice if we're moving....and we're trying to get an idea of area, prices, and we've both got things we are looking for

(he wants a room for plants so our cat doesn't eat them, i need a washer/dryer and dishwasher!)

it feels like i moved a gazillion times since last april. i am not looking forward to this at all. best was when i went on vacation to visit my parents and gav moved me into my new place himself.

yep, have for the past 7 months. Even at the same salary and working in the city would save so much money for me. (Gas, costly car repairs such as tires, brakes etc.)

there's a reason for that though.
put yourself in a landlord's place...would you want to rent to someone who didn't pay their credit cards and had their car repo'd?

yea i'm nervous because i don't have good revolving credit (no ccards at all) and i've had a few late payments (who hasn't especially as a single mom)

so i hope they don't all look at just that. because i could have really good references from both my job and my current landlord.

i haven't started looking at the places yet, just searching the market. first i have to figure out what to do with my horses. my sister is looking at a place in ardmore where she'll be renting a place above a barn. if she gets that place then my problems are solved...but i have to wait.

i want to move to chinatown with some friends of mine.
