Where is a good place to go for dessert and drinks in Philly? Me and the boy are cooking out tomorrow night (yayy italian market seafood) and just want some QT time afterwards.

I heard farmicia is pretty decent.

I just don't want it to be too expensive or the selection too boring.

I don't do dessert, if I do it's just canollis from termini brothers or something like that.

The desserts at Buddakan are unreal. However, it's hard to get into.

I have a 100 dollar gift card to all starr restaurants that I got for xmas and never used. Since wifey never leaves the apartment and is a picky eater I think i'm just going to sell it or take the boys out for mimosas and brunch at jones'.

Yea, it's my favorite restaurant in Philly. My dad has the hookup, which is pretty much the only reason I get in.

Haha, not cheap. A couples dinner including appetizer, dinner, and dessert will run you about $100, but the food is definitely fantastic, unlike some upscale restaurants. It's definitely nice to go to for a big date night...that happens like once a year.

I have not, I've heard good things though. It is right on the same block as Buddakan.
