Right now I'm rocking CD's and a XM receiver (came with my car so I use, subscription for Xmas much appr).
Thinking of AUX input for my iSnob. My lil bro has one and he said its great except you have to change the songs with the iPod and not the actual radio or steering wheel controls. That wouldn't bother me though.
I need an aux input for my car...badly
everywhere I search it says it isn't possible without a new cd receiver though :(
2005 nissan altima 2.5
you guys need to man up and stop being yuppies.
cassette/am/fm/ftw
i'm surprised the 05 altima doesn't have one already, i worked for a nissan dealer when they were the new cars, and could have sworn they did. did you get like the bare bones one? like no power windows and shit?

nope, standard 2.5 with power everything. Only 3.5 has the aux input in 2005.
Most factory cd players have an aux input in the back, the 2005 nissan altima doesn't even have that.
well that's beat. i never really spent a ton of time noticing the differences in stereo between the 2.5 and 3.5 so i guess it slipped. i wasn't a salesman so oh well. that sucks though man, my 04 sentra fuckin has one.
i hooked up an ipod adapter directly to my radio. works great, cant complain
I think we found Laura's debit card thief.

My XB has an aux input and I just sit my iPod on the passenger seat. No big deal.
you can always get one of those frequency adapters too, i've had some for work trucks before that worked pretty good.

those radio things always seem so fucking worthless. I will never pay for one again.
i bought a $5 adapter cable the goes from the cd changer input on the back of my receiver to RCAs, and i have my ipod running through that. i've had it for about 3 years now. best thing ever.

I just use the tape to headphone jack adapter for anything in my car.
