They lost their appeal pretty quickly for me. Still a decent band.
Good call. Minus the Bear meets American Football, with hints of Copeland, Radiohead, and Death Cab in the vocals.
I've been looking for something new and nothing has really satisfied that except these guys.
yeah im constantly looking for indie stuff that sounds similar to mtb but i haven't been able to find anything i enjoy
the songs on their myspace don't do them justice either, their best songs were left off the player
"26 is Dancier than 4" whet my appetite pretty well.
i can groove to this
posted this same thread, a couple months ago. good band would rather listen to their the other bands that influenced them.
i had a search to see if anyone had posted about them but nothing came up .. our musical tastes should date, spense (for the most part)

i don't think you could have sucked that cock any harder.
listen to black sabbath
haha, ohhh. well this band is similar except their vocalist sounds like he should have sang for the smoking popes or something. a real 90's alt-rock feel to it. mostly why i dig this.
smoking popes were odd because the lead singer sounded like he was a singing a lounge act. unique though
smoking popes was probably a bad comparsion, haha. how about, weezer?
that ghosts and vodka band they have listed in their influences is fucking awesome too .. cool instrumental shit .. didn't care much for the others that i hadn't heard before
