I went from paying $284.35 per month with geico per month to $174.55 per month with progressive. With the same coverage.
Shit was insane and geico is sending me almost $300 bucks back i paid ahead so i;m really happy escp since shit is tight around now.
Also, i do hate ALL car insurance companies they can all burn in hell esp since i pay $15-20 extra per month because i was rear ended 2 years back..

I need to start shopping around again. We had a multi-car discount, but my mom no longer has a car and just uses mine... so it went up by about $80/mo, which is just ridiculous.

I'm just waiting for my current homeowner's policy to be up (paid in advance) so I can shop around and get both with the same company.

My husband and i insure both our cars with full coverage through state farm and only pay 125 a month. And that is with renter's insurance tacked on.

Switched off Geico to Progressive, paying $100.00 a month- BUT because I chose to pay 6 months in advance I saved about $75.00 overall, so not a bad deal at all.

Geico is also awful about paying out money when one of their clients is the cause of an accident and owes it to another person, just like my accident last fall when my car was totaled. When did I get a check from them? MARCH.

Insured my first car ever a couple weeks ago, $157 a month. Mind you, I don't have full coverage or anything like that.

I was paying 350$ with Nationwide for full coverage for 2 yrs.I missed a payment once while things were slow at work. They dropped my coverage and i wind up getting into an accident and totaled my car..So i payed all that money for nothing..go figure

Wow. I only pay $82/mo. Full coverage/tort. I think it's like 100,000/300,000 coverage. Highest they offer.

Yes, but I still have full coverage. It is an option to not have full since I don't have a loan out on my car, but I prefer to have full anyway.

You also have the old man discount, I do not, as I have not reached 25 yet. Oh, and mine is $83/mo with an accident. I'm not really sure how I pulled that off.
