yes, i would.
but according to the little bit of research i've done, at the moment its only really available for people between -5.00 and +5.00 though, and i'm +6.00.

so i suppose i'm just going to have to hope that technology gets a bit better.

ive heard the main drawback is your night vision is slightly impaired, as in when you see headlights comign toward you itll be distorted or intensified. but for free from a good doctor i wouldnt pass on the opportunity

My mom got it. She is quite happy with the results.

I would do it although there is a slight chance of something going wrong, thats with pretty much any medical procedure.

I'm not sure, it kinda creeps me out and I don't mind my contacts/glasses.

my eyes are 20/20 so i don't need it but if they were to ever get real bad, i'd definitely keep that option open.

The only problem is, you can't find out if you are allergic to it until you get it done, which unfortunately is too late. This happened to my cousin. His one eye didn't take because of the allergy and he went practically blind in his one eye. They have since corrected it though but he's only back to slightly better than what he was before the first surgery.

You can be allergic to lasik?

I'd definitely get it done, but I'm only sort of near sighted so I can get by fine without it.

I would but I think the problem in my one eye has to do with the muscle so it wouldn't help.

It's recently changed I think, I had a consultation back in 03 (?) and wasn't allowed to move forward since I am a -5.5

I wish I had the money for this. I don't mind glasses until I'm hiking or something where losing or breaking my glasses would leave me fucked.

I actually have 20/10 in my left eye and 20/15 in my right. No need for lasik. I got the Eagle Eye.
