What do you think about the rosters? Pretty fair and balanced all around! Maddon and Manuel clearly picked without bias, which is refreshing because I still felt there was some bias in previous years, particularly with Torre and Francona.

NL will lose, yet again. I really hope they take the game seriously for just once in our lifetime and Lincecum pitches until his arm falls off. Needs a competitive edge!

I agree that Maddon and Manuel selected pretty good, but I think Miguel Cabrera and Matt Kemp (if he doesn't get the final vote) got snubbed. Still pissed that Josh Hamilton got voted in, but I can't really criticize the votes that he got because I voted for BJ Upton on every ballot. I know they are on the Rays, but it's great to see Bartlett and Zobrist make it because they are solid ballplayers and I'm glad they are representing the squad.

Millwood is a definite miss. Also, no Hoffman? Derrek Lee should have been there, BUT he was up against Howard, Gonzalez, and Fielder, which is tough to beat.

Did anyone hear about the changes they want to make to the all star game? I was told last night they want to extend the innings to like 12, and some other things to get all the players guaranteed playing time. I didn't hear this til my boy told me last night.

since the all star game does have an impact on the world series (which it should not) they should not get everyone in the game. play to win if winning actually matters, ie. albert pujols should not come out of the game ever, and there is no reason for ted lilly to get an inning or face one batter in that game.

milton bradley is more of a cub killer than ryan braun and hes on the fucking team.

i hate him more for the fact that he just looks like a huge pussy. seriously, do you think anyone in the clubhouse is hanging out with him after the game? he definitely is a cub killer, though. so was jeff kent, and i looked at him the same way i look at braun.
