i don't know if anyone here has been to coachella, but it's honestly one of the best weekends i've ever had and i'm stoked for this year's line up.

i always come back with a whole new collection of music to listen to, not to mention, just the experience of a huge fucking fest in the middle of the cali desert!

indio is a 5 hour drive for me. i wouldn't fly either, but it's awesome living so close to something like this. the experience itself is worth it.

That lineup has no real draw for me. There are a few bands scattered throughout the weekend that i'd check out but it's definitely not worth the plane ticket or the ticket into the show.

Who's the big headliner? I know every year they get someone rather huge to play as the special guest and i didn't notice anyone on that lineup that really sticks out as someone special. The biggest "reunion" of sorts i saw on there is Faith No More but they've been playing shows again so it's not like this is some big one off show for them.

I did see White Rabbits and my mind really wanted it to say White Zombie....ah someday.

the gorillaz, most likely are the "big" headliner.
also, there's still a chance for them to spring a later surprise in the lineup. probably in a few weeks...

i saw sia when she was there in 2008 and her set was way tight. (she sings the song at the very end of the series finale of six feet under) and yann tiersen did almost all of the music in amelie.
i'm way excited for jay-z, matt and kim, passion pit, as tall as lions, and freakin' devo!
