I was thinking about snagging this one for myself but after I heard what they, mostly Caputo, in North Jersey I had not desire to hear the recorded version. What I'm talking about is how Caputo sucessfully ruined the singalong to any song they played. During some of the more memorable lines that Keith belts out through RRR, the crowd sang it exactly like it was on the album, only Caputo saw fit to either double up on lines or sing them in an entirely new way so he and the crowd did not match. Like how dare the fans steal his moment in the spotlight.

Life Of Agony was part of my first hardcore show ever and River Runs Red will always have a special place in my heart but how fall they have fallen out of touch with their hardest of the hardcore fanbase sickens me.

"Big: In reality, this DVD/CD set doesn't need to exist. LOA put out a live DVD/CD called River Runs Again in 2003, marking 10 years since that record blew tons of people away. The 2003 show covered more of their entire catalog, sounded marginally better, and is probably cheaper at this point in any record store. It just kind of feels like the band is trying to cash in on one great album over and over."

Also my biggest problem with the band. They just continue to milk what is really their only good album.

I'll disagree there. Ugly was a great record. It was just different.

The other two discs can get fucked though.

To me RRR was their only complete good album. Regardless, they're definitely milking the shit out of it. What they need to do is bring back Whitfield Crane so he can tell us to give VOD props for "roughing it" in an enormous RV as they tour with them.

The Whitfield Crane experiment was such a bad idea.

But also hilarious. Seeing him at that Troc show w/ VOD and I believe Anthrax was so damn funny. Dude is such a cock rocker.

Respect was my favorite song off RRR,but after hearing the way he butchered the chorus at both RRR in its entirety shows, I will never have the same regard for the song ever again.

Everyone that I know that went to the show said they left dissappointed. Mostly because of what I said previously.

ive seen live vids of them recently, i will say that keiths performance is lacking, but the rest of the band is into it, and riffs still sound heavy. keith also looks like he loves the dope a little too much.

I think he loves himself too much. He needs to accept that he's not some giant rockstar playing stadiums and give up the ego image. He needs to go back to jumping in the crowd and singing without the mic stand.

ugly was not bad.

i saw them in ny about... 7 years ago in a little shitty bar. It was pretty fun. I can't speak for how keith is acting now, but it sounds like if i would have seen them recently it probably would have ruined the band for me.

Right when they came back, which was about 7 years ago, they were on point. I was at the 2nd set "reunion" shows (not the ones recorded for that cd). Other than playing Let's Pretend accoustic and subsequently ruining one of my favorite songs by them, they (both band and Keith) sounded incredible. They played the Troc a few months later and were still super tight. They even played the first song on that last disc, it sounded alot different and seemed like they were on track to returning to the RRR days of the band. Then they released Broken Valley and everything went to shit.

The only glimpse of the old LOA happened at a show in Delaware, where right before they started playing Underground, Keith said to the crowd "Come on. Lets make these bouncers work for their money. This one is called Underground". Everyone that I was with was thrown out within 30 seconds of the song starting.
