i do regret it because i toiled a good chunk of my life away doing a menial job that's destroying my body and basically being a servant to a pack of ungrateful fucks who i wouldn't piss in their ears if their brains were on fire outside of the restaurant.

I went but never finished.

There are days I do wish I finished years ago and the other days I don't care. I make alot more money than most of the people that I know that did get their degree. My problem with not having a degree is that it's going to make it hard for me to find another job making the money I do. Most of the time they want that expensive piece of paper. Right now I have to soley bank on the experience aspect.

I will go back eventually. Once I'm settled down in a house I will venture back to the classroom. I'm also going to be changing my major from Natural Science to something more practical in terms of my career like Busines Management...something in that realm.

Yes and no. I've done some pretty cool shit in my life, and I don't know how college would have effected my opportunities to experience those things. Then again I also didn't finish high school, so my life since academia has been an uphill battle. I'd feel a lot more trapped in being a non-graduate if I didn't find other means of earning and overcoming. I definitely look at others in an envious light at times - especially when they are doing really well or simply able to say that they made that incredible accomplishment.

I regret not going and finishing after high school. It's much more difficult as an adult and it really stresses me out.

I did go to college, but I regret my choice in majors.

Went a year, realized I couldn't do anything useful with the only major I was interested in and I was paying for it by myself, so I stopped before being way far over my head in debt.

Trying to go to a trade school soon. Someone give me cash now.

I went, busted my ass for 6 years putting myself through college and I have nothing but a piece of paper to show for it. I shouldve went for something that wasnt an interdiscplinary study, something simple.

I went a year, found it pretty useless when Im already working at a job in what my major would have been.

Basically wren summed up my near-exact like to go back for personal reasons, I get by on my experience pretty well for now.

I was actually good at college, haha. Community college is actually exactly like the show "community"... I even had a guy that was a lot like chevy chase.

I have a feeling that this is one of those hipster college kids that Matt Green hates.

Not to be a burden but if you have any food in your pantry that you won't eat could you please let me have it. I'm a good kid but I'm having a hard time right now. It's not booze or drugs it's that I'm not the best Capitalist and I keep telling my bosses to kiss my ass 'cuz they want me to act like a servant instead of a regular person. Hey, you probably know how it is.

If you have any non-perishible food please keep me in mind.

i regret it mainly for the fun factor. my career is doing great without college experience, because in this field real life experience matters more than a piece of paper saying you've learned some shit.

I went to community college for 6 months. Dropped out after sleeping through every class or not showing up. Big waste of time

I then went on to have fun and do my own thing for several years touring the world and playing music. At the end of 2007 I started up screen printing and busted my ass for a few years getting good, learning the ways. Now I've used all my connections and built my own business and it's growing rapidly. I love it, I love the way my life has been.

Fuck college, never needed it.

Not really.

There are occasions where I wonder if I didn't make a wrong decision along the way, and there are moments where I'll be like, "Damn, maybe I should have gone for a teaching degree" or "I wonder if I'd have enjoyed ________, that seems like an interesting field." But those thoughts are fleeting, and I can never choose just one thing to focus on in any aspect of my life, so I don't think I'd have been happy long-term if I'd gone to college and gotten a traditional job. Instead, I figured out a different path and was able to buy a nice house and property before my 22nd birthday. I've never had mountains of debt or the headaches of job searches or any of that to deal with.

My only real regret is that I disappointed a lot of people along the way, but whatever... I redeemed myself eventually.

no regrets. Took me ten years but I got my degree. A little late start but going into it with a little more maturity helped me focus and appreciate it more. Uncle Sam footed the bill and I loved my major. Only regret is not going into the military straight outta high school.

I went to college for like 6 weeks. then went to beauty school. no regrets.

no. looking back, there is really no way i could've gone even if i wanted to. just because i didn't go when i was 18 doesn't mean i missed the boat. i may seek out higher education in the future. obviously i will never experience "college life" but whatever, i experienced delco life lol.

looking around at my peers who are college grads right now doesn't make me think i missed much because they are generally making about the same money as i am. my husband has several degrees in math and computer science and a phd in physics and he's not really using any of those right now. i make almost as much money as him working at fucking starbucks.

this. if i regret anything about the 18-22 years its failing to realize that there is a gigantic institution aimed mostly at exposing young men such as myself to willing, morally bankrupt rich girls and an endless supply of booze that someone else probably paid for.

i need to go back to school asap. being broke and not having anyone to help you financially blows big cocks.
