$30k in less than 2.5 years after getting serious about it. This is so surreal. I'll have my car paid off next in 2 to 3 months. And once I'm done with that it amounts to $40k in 2.5 years.

how were you in that much debt to begin with?

I was financially ignorant all through college and for a while afterward. As cliche as it sounds, the "little things" added up to a lot and I couldn't even have told you what I bought with all that debt.

Once I pay my car off in the next couple of months I'll probably quit that and get back into the realm of RE wholesaling and going to the REIA meetings they have down here.

I just paid off the last of my credit cards last week. It feels awesome. Still have a year or so on the car and 29 years on the mortgage haha.

Just wondering. I'm still about 6k in the hole.

Paying off all of my credit cards in less than a week. Then, its time to stack cash to the heavens

Never had a credit card. This is probably a bad thing but I hate dealing with money.

The worst is paying off the credit cards only to have to use them again.

That's what happened to me, I had them 100% paid off then used them to pay for my first knee surgery

Damn I don't think I have enough of a credit limit to pay for surgery. I've seen those done before, the surgeons throw your leg around and beat the shit out of your knee. Did you have to have anything replaced?
