They're splitting up instant and dvd into separate packages now. So instead of paying $10 for both services, you're going to have to pay $16. Booooooooo

I've never actually had a DVD sent to me.. I only use it for streaming.

so 16 for both streaming and dvd delivery? i dont use the dvd too much but sometimes i have to in order to watch seasons of shit. 16 bux is still worth it for the amount of stuff i watch.

Minuscule amount of money, no care.

vice versa for me.

sucks because it's not worth an additional $8 to keep the dvds, but it was nice to have for many reasons.

yeah 16 for both. i guess it was just a matter of time until it went up. it's great for people who only use one of the services, but current users are getting hosed.

yeah it sucks that we signed up for one price then they just decide to make us pay more to get the same amount of service we are used to. oh well. if it was like 10 bux for streaming then an additional 16 for dvds then i'd be pissed. but 6 extra bux is worth it to be able to watch whatever whenever.

With how much they are putting on streaming and the increased use/expansion of the service, they are most likely doing this to keep making things cost effective. Its still say cheaper than hbo!

They are increasing the prices to put more money towards improving the streaming quality/quantity.

the instant stream is cool for the bunch of random shit you can find on there. Besides that I don't know why anyone would rent physical DVDs anymore.

Let's face: streaming kind of sucks anyway. There's never a whole lot of good or new movies/shows.
