Was just down there a few months ago. Loved Austin. Be sure to see the bats come out around sunset from the Congress Ave bridge. Stubbs BBQ is a must have. 6th St has some awesome places, kinda like how South St used to be back in the day. Hoek's Death Metal Pizza is cool too

There was a food truck from Austin on the Great Food Truck Race. I think it was called Austin Daily Press.

there's food trailer parks everywhere. go to torchy's tacos. if you're really bored, alamo drafthouse is awesome. congress st for shopping (also a pretty decent food trailer park on congress). I went to the texas state capitol and that was interesting and fun. look at red7 to see if there's any shows going on, love that place. and yes, go to hoek's.
