Good morning.
I am drinking coffee and reading about raising Guinea Fowl as opposed to chickens.

Also, fuck ticks.

Good morning. Today will be busy again. My usual server at the Thai place told me last night that I remind him of Robin Scherbatsky (HIMYM). My dad was pleased.

Good morning.

Beers and BBQ this weekend. My dietbet contest thing starts on Monday so I'm cutting beer back out of my diet after Sunday for 4 weeks of that, if not longer.

Matt Harvey is pitching in Chicago today. Maybe the mutts will actually get him a win today.

Hanging out with the kid doing stuff. We spent the morning so far watering our plants and eating fruit. Might go to toys r us and check out what kind of batman toys/blu ray movies they have. His current obsession is superheroes and I am fine with this.

We will also go see how much it is to rent a tiller and do garden things.

I need to do this too.
Do you have any input on my original post regarding chickens and such? And/or tick and other bug repellent for your yard

Guinea hens are great. I grew up with them. I still prefer chickens over them because they produce something where guinea foul are just a bunch of idiots that walk around your yard in circles.

Chickens also will eat the ticks. The only downfall I have ever seen with chickens is that roosters are dick heads and will fuck your day up.

Finally saw Iron Man 3 last night. Not being a comic nerd, I thought it was done really well. It took an interesting twist on modernization. But I could see myself being pissed at what they did to the Mandarin character if I grew up on the comics.

Michael was the one who did the initial research on GH but I'm reading whatever I can get my hands on regarding both. I've read that GH's are also good to eat, and that their eggs are comparable to chicken eggs. I am slowly edging towards the GH side, the more I read. Seems like they can be easier to care for. However, seems like they can be more dick headish than chickens, and they fuck up your shit by digging holes once in a while. Live stock, man

Morning Chris.
You have reminded me that I want to make bacon. I love when my house smells like bacon.

I remember as a kid my parents hated them because they would just wander off onto neighbors property (considering the neighbors are like 20 acres away they are dicks) and then fuck up their lawns. Also they would just walk out into the road in front of cars and just stand there like assholes like "WUT? FUCK YOU IM NOT MOVING". I personally am not a fan of Guinea eggs either.

Lets just get you two peacocks and itll be fine.

I'll bring you some silky bantam chickens. We will name them Bebop and Rocksteady. I must find some ooze.

I can't think of anything off hand but pages I belong to put shit up all the time about it. I'll pass it on if I see something.

You can always buy a bunch of praying mantis eggs and grow them. They will eat all kinds of stuff.

This is a good tip that I did not think of.

Hm, that's something I've been worried about... I'd have to try the meat/eggs before we took them on.

The spawns and I pet a peacock at the Elmwood Zoo yesterday. It was neat.

I HATE Guinea Hens. My neighbors had them and they would come over constantly and crap all over my hot tub and make obnoxious noise at all hours. Then when my dog killed one (on OUR property, which was six acres) the neighbors freaked out at us. Um. ok.

Lol Definitely noted. I wouldn't fault our neighbors if they took out an asshole bird on their property.

I mean - we didn't let our dog do it on purpose or anything. He's a dog, he just does that stuff. However, this was probably the only time I wasn't sad when he killed something.

I half jokingly thought to myself about looking at employment opportunities in Maui when we were out there.

Hi, PAHC.

I'm working until 1pm today becuase I have a doctors appointment. I have to get blood work done and I've been fasting since sometime yesterday evening. I want to eat my own hands right now.

After that, I'm heading to PA to see Heather and check out Star Trek for Steph's birthday festivities.

Whats good?
