what recent purchases have you made that you felt were well worth every penny?

1. spotify premium:
having access to almost any song ever on my phone, ipad, and laptop for $10 a month has proven to be well worth it. the best part is that when a new album is released, it is instantly available. i'm not sure a day has gone by that i haven't used it.

GoPro Hero 3 black edition. I bought it so I could film bits of my upcoming vacation and edit it together to make a fun video. I took it out a couple weekends ago and shot random stuff I did over the weekend and edited this test video together in about an hour. I think it turned out pretty well for a first try and I'm excited to use it for the vacation thing.

2. soundfreaq sound kick:
there's a bunch of quality bluetooth speakers out there that i'm sure are just as great or even better but this is the one i have. i'm always traveling with this thing since it's perfect for bbqs, stoop sitting, tailgating, hotel rooms, etc. and when i'm at home it stays in my bathroom for shower tunes. i got it as a christmas gift, but definitely worth the $100.

Primo grill has been hands down the best purchase I've made in years. Ill never use a gas grill again. Easy to use, versatile and the food is incredible.

Amazon prime.

I buy a couple of books a week, and the novelty of being able to order one in the afternoon and have it delivererd the next morning will never wear off.

I need one because I just put my iphone in a glass bowel. I have been looking at more expensive ones but if you recommend this, I'll purchase.

truth on the amazon prime as well. I would probably get spotify premium if I wasn't afraid of going over my data limits on my phone.

If you have you phone hooked to your wifi at home you can download songs directly to your phone so that you can listen offline. I usually keep two or three albums saved to my phone to listen to in the car, bc we have a very small data package.

If it wasn't for sports and HBO, cable would be out. Unfortunately those are necessities.

Nah, I don't wanna be that guy. Besides, that only solves 33% of the problem. The other 66% being sports.

lifx bulb. one bulb projects practically any color and shade of that color through your wifi controlled by a downloadable app on yr phone. 80 dollhairs. moderately easy setup. i'm kind of a lighting freak so it was an easy decision for me and i'm very happy with it. you can set up multiple and coordinate and all that jazz (i think the iphone technology has more options such as "alternate colors to music/text message light flicker alerts"/etc stuff i don't give a fuck about).
