I was wondering about this. Is anyone here stupid or fascist enough to actually support Donald Trump?

I may be dumb, but not that dumb.

But an interesting thought was brought up this morning in a discussion that covered both last night's GOP debate and the Bernie Sanders interview Killer Mike did. My one coworker is conservative but is afraid of Donald Trump getting the presidential nod. He's gone as far as to say that he agrees with some of his policies (not the banning and registering of Muslims). However, he self admitted that he doesn't vote. After talking to him, I basically got him to the point of voting in the primary for whoever he thinks is better than Trump just to atleast stop Trump from getting the GOP nod, if he's that worried about him getting elected.

I wonder how many other conservatives are going to not vote and unfortunately let Trump take the primary election? Republican voting is statistically low.

I think in the next few months we will see Trumps numbers start to fall.....he never has a policy on anything...he answers questions with insults and fear mongering. Not to say that most politicians policies are the best thing ever....but at least most of them provide some sort of idea on how they are going to fix problems with a policy they have in mind.

You mean in the campaign or physically?

Also, I would love to see Trump lose the nomination. He will, of course, cry foul and then break his promise of not running as an independent.

Truth be told, I'm less worried about Trump than I am about Hillary Clinton getting the nomination for the simple reason that Bernie Sanders is such a superior candidate to anyone running and is honest and ethical enough to keep his promise not to run as an independent.. a promise forced on him by the DNC so they wouldn't have to worry about another Ralph Nader taking away votes from their mediocre candidate allowing the Republicans a better shot at winning.

I think it would be funnier if Ted Cruz did it with little Randy Paul there to trash talk and try to take credit for it after the fact and then act like he never said anything at all as soon as Trump starts coming around.
