In case you haven't heard, there are 12 brand new aggressive tracks from the Cro-Mag's founder Harley Flanagan. The album screams brutality in the vein of the Cro-Mags' "Age of Quarrel" and "Revenge" and explodes with heavy intensity and pure anger.
"A lot of bad things were happening in my life when I wrote this album, like the Webster hall incident in 2012. I was pissed," said Flanagan. "I poured all my anger and frustration into it and it made for a very aggressive album. It allowed me to vent and get all of the anger out of my system and it made for a brutal album. I'm in a much better place now... It was very therapeutic."
This is the return of the NYHC icon. Punk News said, "You don't get art like this without there being some sort of mortal clash. Honestly, as this LP shows, it may very well be worth the price."
As for Flanagan, he states, "My life had kind of hit rock bottom, and it's now getting better then it ever was. I have this new CD/LP out now and a book coming out in spring."
