On September 27th from 7 to 9 PM, Harley Flanagan will be signing copies of his upcoming book "Hardcore: Life Of My Own" at Manitoba's (99 Avenue B, NYC). Books will be available for purchase on site, or can be brought.

A recent feature in the New York Times details the timeline and history of Flanagan. He talks about the feud with Cro-Mags’ frontman John Joseph McGowan, hobnobbing with Andy Warhol, Joe Strummer, and Allen Ginsberg as a child, and other legendary tales.

As reported by the New York Times, Anthony Bourdain used to see him play shows in the early 1980s at New York venues like the Paradise Garage. “He was already a fixture on the scene as ‘the 12-year-old drummer’ who could get into all the clubs and hang with all the current punk gods,” said Bourdain.
