Well, if you do, do your best not to compare it to The Wire while watching it. They're similar in principal, but each show is very different from one another.
Vic Mackey is such a badass, best character.
Cool. I don't know if you buy your shows on dvd or download them all, but they released the entire series in a box set last month. I might buy that in addition to every season I already have, just because I'm a dork.
You should most definitely watch The Shield. It's seven seasons, but certainly worth investing the time in watching the show. It drew me in like nothing else I've ever seen before. The storylines get so complex and the acting is top notch. It's just so raw, intense, and riveting. The whole series plays out like a big movie with an explosive ending that is beyond intense.
I've gotten several people into the show now (including my mom and her boyfriend) and they've all loved it.

for weather and shows, there's no place better... been a little slow on meeting new friends, which is weird for me. I don't know enough about what goes on during the week I guess. job hunting is kinda rough too, things are just moving slow in general. but I'm having a good time and always feel like I'm on vacation, great weed for sure.

It should be good for sure. Hopefully it will work well too. They are more or less using that as a guide and a test run for 2010.

I didn't see them... they were at a small venue and I couldn't preorder tix online so I figured it'd sell out.
I don't think I'm gonna pick up DJing again, atleast not for now. I thought I was gonna pick it up in the fall but right now I'm just more occupied with playing and booking shows and other stuff and don't feel like I have the time to devote to it that I used to.
radio DJing is definitely an awesome time for the first couple years that you do it though... I always recommend trying it out.
