Thank you, I found a whole shitload of results on that site. There were actually more italian greyhound mixes than just greyhounds, which is pretty interesting.
Actually, the only thing that's held me back is knowing I'd have to clean the cage and all that.. I could personally care less what most girls say about it since most girls aren't really interested in me anyway, haha. I've always loved rats and enjoyed the personalities of the rats that friends have had.
If I end up getting one sometime in the next couple months I'll be sure to let you know about it.
your rats are awesome, haha... I've always wanted a rat but every girl I've ever talked to said they wouldn't go within a mile of my house if I got one.
that shit's crazy. i'd love to volunteer, and i probably will sometime in the future. i have yet to get my license, and i've applied to the closest animal hospital, but i guess they didn't need any help. i think working with animals is the only thing i could stand doing for the rest of my life.
"so tonight i was at my uncle's house for easter dinner, and he adopted two greyhounds. so i brought my 4 month old puppy over to meet them. i introduced them and they were getting along fine, so i left them alone to go upstairs to get a drink.
i came back down and i kept feeling little wet drops, but i just thought it was slobber. [the room was dimly lit because people were watching a movie] and then i looked down at my hands and they were covered in blood. [i thought they were just wet from licking eachother.] i turned on the light and all the walls were splattered with blood and it was all over everything.
yeah, i had no idea that greyhounds have paper thin skin. so both of their tails were all cut up from wagging and hitting stuff, and my puppy likes to jump up so they had scratches all over their bodies."
haha, just in case you care. i think it's an interesting story. and yes, i got meatball when she was 6 weeks old. i could cup my hands and hold her in them. :)
that is amazing, i'd love to work in a place like that. my uncle rescued two greyhounds and i brought meatball to their house for thanksgiving and i don't really know much about greyhounds. wait, i posted here about it, i'll just copy&paste cause it's a long story: (i have to make it two seperate comments because it's too long, haha)
Thank you. It's awesome that you have rats, I had them my entire life until last year when my Meatball (an albino) and Peter(a hairless) died. Then I vowed not to get anymore for a while. I get too attached and they just don't live long enough.
i'm sorry your god died. that's tough. the last dog i had, my mother put to sleep without telling me. it was his time and everything, he was really old and lost control of his bowels, but i would have at least liked to be there when they put him down.
meatball is a pit-bull, german shepard, american bulldog mix. she is my life.
the things that matter most to me...are pictured in my photo album. with the exception of the rest of my hounds, and ki-ki. damn. i forgot about the mary jane.
