yeah. i've had mine since last spring. same one. same battery. *knock on wood* i haven't had any problems with mine. i really like it. it is a little clunky, but it's not like a discman... the battery life is pretty good too. i only have to charge it about every other weekish if i listen to it inbetween classes every day. it's easy to use too. there's just something about the ipod wheel i can't get down. haha
